01

Three ways
we back a business.

Sized to what the company actually needs, from a light-touch cheque to full operating support to non-dilutive debt.

Capital, lightly held

Small equity cheques

Capital and the occasional hand where a founder mainly needs fuel. A more traditional venture posture.

Capital plus operators

Larger equity positions

Real operating time alongside the cheque, where we can genuinely move the needle.

Non-dilutive

Debt financing

Growth capital for established businesses, without giving up equity, on terms built around cash flow.

CASE STUDY
IDVerse, an OCR Labs Company

From early backing to a global exit.

We backed IDVerse (formerly OCR Labs) from the first cheque. John was first investor and CEO, and the team took C-suite and fractional roles as it scaled, driving hiring, UK and US expansion, and every raise, through to a competitive sale and its 2025 acquisition by LexisNexis Risk Solutions.
